The Singapore Medical Association, led by Prof Goh Lee Gan, interviews Prof Anne Merriman about her experiences working in Singapore in the early 80’s and what she’s been up to since then. 

Merriman was invited to join the Department of Social Medicine & Public Health in the National University of Singapore  by Prof Phoon Wai-On because of her experience in geriatric medicine, coupled with her recent Master’s degree in International Public Health. However, it wasn’t long before she started working with patients and began a palliative care movement in the community with a group of volunteer nurses after work.
