‘Opiophobia’ Has Left Africa in Agony – NYT

The New York Times shares an article on the challenges and solutions facing the access abyss in pain relief around the word and highlights Uganda as a model with innovative solutions. “Uganda has a strategy for giving scarce morphine to patients in pain. But many poor nations won’t emulate it, over fear of an opioid epidemic.”
